Close to 84,000 homes and businesses in Maine suffered a power outage recently. The energy was provided to them by Central Maine Power. Customers began noticing the outages late last night. Central Maine Power is currently diagnosing the outages and expects the power outage to reach more customers. Workers will be de-energizing downed lines putting safety first.
