Fred Thompson
The sports industry lost another athlete. Oregon State’s freshman defensive tackle Fred Thompson died. Multiple reports are saying that he was playing basketball at the Dixon Recreational Center on the OSU campus. He was pronounced dead late last night after being taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis. Heart attack is believed to be the cause of death of the 6-4, 317 pound freshman.
